Visiting Guidelines

Welcome to Southern California Hospital at Culver City, where the health and safety of our patients, families, and staff are our top priority. All guests (visitors and vendors) must check-in at the Pavillion mail lobby and obtain a visitor's pass. Hospital guests seen on the hospital premises without a temporary pass will be redirected to the main lobby to obatin one. All visitors and vendors entering or re-entering the facility must also be screened by our metal detectors.
Visitation Hours
- Acute Care and Sub-Acute visitation hours are daily from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Behavioral Health and Chemical Dependency hours are Monday-Friday from 5-7 p.m., Saturday-Sunday and holidays from 1-3 p.m.
Visitation Guidelines
- Only 2 visitors allowed per room at a time
- Masks are no longer required and are personal preference
- Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
- No visitors allowed in the Emergency Department. Patients under the age of 18 in the Emergency Department may be accompanied by one parent or guardian
- Overnight stays are limited and must be approved by the House Supervisor
COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines
All approved visitors must:
- Check-in at the main hospital front desk, complete the visitor log, obtain a visitors’ pass
- Wear a hospital approved face mask (surgical mask) covering your nose and mouth
- Follow physical distancing practices at all times to reduce COVID-19 transmission
- If you are experiencing flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms, we encourage you stay home and postpone your visit
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19, please postpone your visit until 10 days have passed
COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines for Sub-Acute Only (Tower 3)
The visitor schedule varies by day and is developed by the department. Subacute staff will advise security of any schedule changes.
Only 2 visitors are allowed per room at a time.
All approved visitors must:
- Check-in at the main hospital front desk for screening, complete the visitor log, and obtain a visitors’ pass
- Check-in at the Tower 3 Sub-Acute front desk for screening
- Complete the Sub-Acute visitor log, including COVID-19 symptom attestation
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while in the patient’s room
Failure to follow any of the guidelines stated will result in immediate removal from the hospital.
