As with all of our surgical specialties at Southern California Hospital at Culver City, we are focused on reducing the trauma of each procedure. Vascular surgery, in particular, is quickly evolving as new minimally traumatic techniques are developed and refined. At SCH-CC, all types of vascular surgery are offered with at least one minimally traumatic option. One example is angioplasty or angioplasty with stent replacement for vascular occlusion of the arteries in the legs.
The predominant types of vascular surgery we perform at our hospital, in addition to angioplasty and stenting, are carotid endarterectomy, endoscopic vein surgery, and endovascular stent graft.
Other vascular surgical procedures performed at SCH-CC include:
- Ambulatory phlebectomy
- Catheter embolization
- Dialysis access
- Liver biopsy
- Portal hypertension surgery
- Surgical aneurysm repair
- Vascular access procedures
- Vena cava filters
- Venous thrombectomy
- Internal stents (minimally invasive treatment option)
- Catheter treatments (minimally invasive treatment options)
